July 15th 2008 arrives and Wordpress, one of the biggest blogging CMS (Content Management Systems) on the web just released a new edition called Tyner.  Tyner has many more great features compared to past wordpress editions, which will help aid the CMS experience.

Wordpress 2.6 or as it is known Tyner has many new features which include

• - Theme previews - You can test out a preview of a theme with your content, whereas the old Wordpress edition you had to activate it to see it, thus making it live.
• - Word Count - Counts how many words are in your posts/pages.
• - Images captions - So you can add text underneath an image.
• - Quicker WYSIWYG Editor - More speedy TinyMCE

I have yet to change my websites to Wordpress edition 2.6, but when I have spare time (most probably tonight) I will upgrade the version, and I will keep you informed on how good the new edition really is.
